Tennis is awesome! I played for a while, before it got in the way of swimming. Its definitely not gay. Its a great sport, and you should start if you want.

I love to play tennis. People consider it more of a girl sport because people think that girls play it more, but that's not true. Any sport that you like is perfectly fine. You don't haveto be gay or straight to play any sport, and playing a sport certainly doesn't make you gay or straight, despite stereotypes. Really, tennis isn't played alot either because when people watch it's not as exciting as watching baseball or football so they think it's stupid. But if you're on the court then it's a whole different experience.

As is always said here on the boards, no specific action (including playing a sport) can make you gay. Also, there's no such thing as a 'gay sport.' I love tennis! I have many friends who play tennis as well. Some are gay and most are straight.

I wanted to play tennis my freshman yeah but stopped because my friends said the same things. After playing sophomore, I now have a chance at scholorships. Don't listen to your friends because just like me you don't know if yor really good or not.

Is it really gay if you can hit a tin can from the other side of the court with a serve and enough power to put a giant bruise on someone? haha. You should just join!
