How do we make friends?

I truely can't remember how I became friends with anyone. I want to know but the people I ask just laugh and say they don't know. So... How did you become friends with your friends? Reading how you did might refresh my memory.

Well. when i was little, i used to know EVERYONE in my school and neighborhood. I would be the super energetic one and go HI! I'm Brandon. Lets be friends! And then i'd do whatever i did.

Now, i sit in my little corner, and people come up to me to say hi and become my friend. I'm not brave enough anymore to go up to people and make friends

I find myself with the same problem sometimes... I don't really remember, I think that if are daily with them, you start to get close to them, even without your notice.

I really can't remember either, I was thinking about this a few days ago.
After I was born and my mom had to go back to work, I went to the same babysitters house until 4th grade, and so did two other kids my age. I've been friends with those two since before I can remember. I guess, when my friends made other friends, those people usually became my friends too because we had to spend time together.

I've never been outgoing enough to go up and talk to people I don't already know...

i would say i become friends with people, through other people. for example, my neighbor and i are friends, just because we are the same age, and live next to each other. so we just started hanging out. well, he had met someone in his class, and then the 3 of us started hanging out.

if you can find just one friend, then you are able to make friends from that friend. ask your friend to invite some other people with you 2, and then you can make friendships through your friend. or the 2 of you can find kids you want to be friends with, and invite the kid out as a threesome.

i had them for health and i was listening to their discussion and i joined in. they gave me a nickname and we became quick friends.

if youre having problems with making friends in school cause youre shy you could ask a person in one of your classes did you get homework. its a good way of leading into a conversation if you are a bit afraid of going up to people and saying hi.
