Who likes the Sims?

I DO!

Of the original Sims, "Unleashed" and "Makin' Magic" were brilliant expansion packs, IMO. I could play "Makin' Magic" for hours, just letting my imagination loose, making magical shops and stuff, building dark/magical houses, making spells...

Then Sims 2 came along, which was a PC gaming marvel. The graphics were so much better and there was more ways to change your view, which helped a LOT. I only have "University" so far. The other ones I need are "Night Life" and... well I forget the third one but it's something about business...

It'd be CRAZY if they made a Sims 3.

i liked the original sims the best.. the sims 2 is very good but sometimes overcoplicated and runs slow on:

2.8Ghz P4
512mb ram
256mb ati radion something (quite new)
pleanty of disk space

im not sure why but that is a good spec pc and its very slow and jerky... its been reinstalled.. but heyho! not the end of the world cos i never play it anymore

I've only tried Sims 2 or something at my computer store, and it was nothing special.

I have all the expansion packs for the original sims and i have the original sims, sims bustin out, and sims 2 for the gamecube. i have yet to get sims 2 but i REALLY want to. my brother claims they wont run on our computer but i think thats just so he can load all his games into the pc. im not sure if it will work on this pc so i am forced to wait until about august until i get my own pc. *Sighs*

whats odd is that they talk funny and they censored them going the bathroom even though you'll see nothing.

you can get a patch to get rig of the censored bit lol.. you cant see anything tho really

I have the Sims 2 original, University, Nightlife, Pets, and Seasons. That's it, I think. It's great! :D


I want to get others, too. :P


There is one coming out called Sims 2: Castaway, and that would be GREAT for my Sims Survivor website. :D
