I think my parents are getting a divorce

My mom keeps saying she is un happy with my dad. He is always drinking. My mom is moving and I dont know if I should stay with my dad or move with my mom.

You have an option. When you all are in court for the divorce, they cannot control who you stay with. You get to choose which parent you wish to live with. You can stay with you mom only or your dad only. Or you can split your schedule so you do half with your dad and half with your mom. Most kids do half and half, but it is totally up to you. In my honest opinion, judging by your post, if I were in your shoes I would live with your mom as you mentioned your dad is always drinking which will cause many problems living with him. Actually, when a parent drinks, it can mean many reason. It is either he/she is depressed, or he/she is drinking his pain away or he/she is a alcoholic. Once either one of those go away, he/she will stop. Unless he/she is a complete alcoholic who can't control themselves, thats a different story
