People seem to think that people who have Homosexual sex are MORE likely to get STI's. Is this true? Or was it just a myth?

Getting STI's/STD's is from sex period, but if you take all precautions like condoms and dental guards, you should be absolutely fine.

they're about 7 times more likely to get AIDS. I know that from somewhere but no one knows why.

No, not at all.
Both sexes have the same chances of getting an STI.

I have looked it up, and it seems that that is correct. Although, it is absolutely absurd! I really can not believe that a person can't donate blood because they don't love the opposite sex!

you could lie that you aren't gay and donate blood. Just don't act so feminine around the people who work there and you should be fine

Anyone can get STI's if they have unprotected sex with someone with those diseases, or other ways of infection, so it depends on the acts of each person.

Of course it was a dream.
Homosexual / bisexual people's bodies are no bloody different than those of straight people. I don't know who the hell would ever think that.

As David said, homosexuals are no different than straight people. They just prefer the same sex, rather than the opposite sex. There is equal chance of getting an STD, so be careful no matter your sexuality.

Actually, he is right that Red Cross, if you have had homosexual sex in the last 30 days, on your admission form, its a question, they reject you to give blood.
Homosexuals have the same chance to get an STD at someone that is heterosexual. The use of contraception and amount of sex varies, statistically, it says that gay men have more sex than straight men. And tend to be less safe. So, by that, they are more prone, but the homosexuality doesn't mean that, the irresponsibility does.
Side note: Lesbian sex is the least likely to get an STD.
