I'm pretty active on facebook, and to me VT is more of a retreat like somebody mentioned. Not the best idea imo, but some people may want to add a couple of people on theirs. Personal preference, just not mine.

I most definately agree... this is like my sanctuary.. where no one here really knows me until they read what i put. Like in RL.. no one except only a handful of people know that i am gay and have such major family issues..=T i'd try to get get myself banned if one of my friends was on here... i'd be horrified because i know that they will spread my info that i put down in here...everywhere...

Frankly, I don't care whether or not my friends know about VT. You're not anonymous anywhere on the internet, and I don't think you guys understand that. People can track IP addresses, use keyloggers, etc. I'm not afraid or ashamed of my secrets. I care as much as they care; it's non-existent. What we do on VT is a good thing, and I think people should know that.

However, we should not have it for the sole reason of security. If we get VT out to some of the people we all know, VT will be a target to trolls everywhere.
