Phreak/Phone network combo thread

Phreak:Has anyone here actualy done any phone phreaking/wire tapping? I made a linemans handset a while back and tapped a couple peoples tele line.

Phone question: How would i go about having two phones in my house and calling just the number would make one phone ring but calling the number + an extension will make the phone in my room ring? Also, is it possible to put a modem in my comp and use it as an answering machine?

i dont know about anyhting else but yes you can use your comp as a answer machine... i think you just need the right software. just try google for the software.. you can also use ur commp as a fax machine!

Eh, I never got into phreaking. You could try Googling different key terms and see what you can find :)

And I'm pretty sure you'll need to contact your phone service provider and see if they have that available... You might need to pay double the price, or the price for an additional line for your house.
