Who is excited about the new season of American football?
I can't wait for the new NCAA season to start BSU kicks off the season hosting Oregon this Thursday. I plan on watching the game can't see in live the tickets are way too expensive, but I plan on catching it on ESPN. :yeah:

Now having ESPN in the UK, I'll be definitely watch some NFL games. I want to learn about the game more as I've had an invitation to play for our county team as a linebacker. My first season as a proper fan ha.

I can't wait until the NFL begins. The Ravens are going to tear it up this year :D. After going to the AFC championship game last year with a rookie QB and falling just a little short, this is the year. Kickoff weekend will be great with a lot of good games, I'm pumped.
College football. I will watch the kickoff games on the 5th, but i only watch it when I'm bored on Saturdays, or the BCS games.

I dislike American football intensely. I dread the start of the season every year, as my brother and Dad get really into it and its annoying. And, my main hatred for it is that it can take more than 3 hours for 4, 15 minute quarters. And there are commercials......There should not be commercials during sporting events, its just WRONG. These are all the reasons I also hate baseball.
So, no, I do not look forward to NFL/NCAA seasons. :D

Cool I prefer college over the NFL but I hope we can still talk football.
Miami Dolphins are my team.

I remember in the wild card 27-9 hmmm :D. Sweet revenge for that only dolphin win in '07.
But for a college team its the Alabama Crimson Tide. roll tide. This year they'll be SEC west champs this i guarantee it and when they beat Florida in the SEC championship game woo.

I do love me some college football. I can't stand the pros. I don't know why. I think it's partially my dads fault. Growing up always hearing an expletive and NFL used in the same sentence so often. But USC is my team. Always has been. I long for the days of the Leinart and Bush tandem. Too bad neither are doing very well in the pros. v-v

It was a great start to the college football season especially when this happens:

Nothing better then showing absolutely no sportsmanship by decking another player and embarrassing your school on national television.

Yeah agree but Blount will not play another down of College football.
He was suspended by Oregon for the remainder of the season and since he is a senior his carer is over.

Penn States where its at. Just went to their opening game today against the Zips. Penn State absolutly beat them up. Their defense looks good this year.

I hate football immensely, at any level. Just because I prefer my peace and quiet, rather than my dad screaming at the TV.

That is cool that you don't like football. That is why we all have our choice on what we like and dislike.

Week 1 is down.
#3 Oklahoma losing to #20 BYU: The sooner season could be over if Sam Bradford's shoulder is hurt really bad. After Bradford went out the offense stalled completely. and the OU chances of the BCS title game are already in doubt after losing in week one.
Ohio State almost chocking to Navy at home is bad, pretty much means USC will win in Columbus next week.
Notre Dame and Michigan both won big, so are comebacks in the works we'll see.
Other than Oklahoma going down no other big upsets this week everyone that should have won did. Next week's game to watch Ohio St. USC
And finally #5 Alabama beat #7 VT 38-24. roll tide.

Steelers win first game of the NFL season
The Steelers didn't win it the Titans lost it. The titans outplayed the steelers and the 2 missed field goals cost them in the end.

If I'm not mistaken, I think if one team loses, the other wins? And if the Titans missed the field goals, its their fault for losing it in the end.

Your right but, if you watched the games and see the stats the Titans pretty much gave the game away, the steelers should have lost but the Titans choked it away.

Boise State is now number 5 in both major polls.
Soon the BCS will have to recognize the fact that the nonBCS schools are just as good as the overrated BCS schools.

Ravens are 3-0 :D
Steelers lost again lol.
Lions won a game, un-believe-able.
But in college its upsets all the time, the Cal loss was unacceptable now there #24. Penn State lost at home to Iowa now i can laugh at all the Penn State fans, Ole Miss lost by 6 but fell from #4 to #21 in the polls.

NFL is something I like. I don't watch NCAA football, but if I do, it's always OSU on my TV! Definately happy for the Bengals this week for upsetting the Steelers.
