I didn't ask much of you,
Didn't need much from you,
All I wanted was to know
What was going on with you
'Cos I love you...

So you gotta rise to the occasion
And stop with your impatience,
And just let loose what needs to be said,
Remove your inhibitions
And tell me what you're wishin'
Because I am here to hear you out, baby...

I will listen to you closely,
Nothin' you say will hurt me,
I am here for you
And for you I will stay.

I don't care about your past,
I don't care if you've fucked up
Because to me you are the one
And you'll always be on top of the world, babe...

So you gotta rise to the occasion
And stop with your impatience,
And just let loose what needs to be said,
Remove your inhibitions
And tell me what you're wishin'
Because I am here to hear you out, baby...

Just let me know what you're thinking,
So I can stop obsessing
Over whether you're okay
Or if you're down...

I need to know that you still love me,
I need to know that you're okay
I need to know that you won't
Make a mistaake...

So you gotta rise to the occasion
And stop with your impatience,
And just let loose what needs to be said,
Remove your inhibitions
And tell me what you're wishin'
Because I am here to hear you out, baby...

Don't do something you'll regret
Or something you'd rather forget,
Just stop and take a moment to thi-ink,
And talk to me-e, talk to me-e...

So you gotta rise to the occasion
And stop with your impatience,
And just let loose what needs to be said,
Remove your inhibitions
And tell me what you're wishin'
Because I am here to hear you out, baby...
Yeah, I'm here, to hear you out, baby...

Jeez. I've been reading your songs and they're fucking amazing. Do you write music too?

Nah, but I'm taking a course on that a year from now...

I used to know how to, but I had a terrible music teacher several years ago and she really turned me off to music...

But now I'm slowly easing back into it and I hope to "relearn" how to write music within the next couple of years (hopefully sooner than that though).

I hope to pursue a career in the music industry... If my other career options don't pan out.
