GCSE results on my birthday. = (

Hey,today just sucks-its my 16th and i got my GCSE results today-i got 2 A* 's,7 B's and one C.
They are ok grades,but now my birthday has been ruined because of exam expectations.

Anyway-if anyone here got their results today and wants to share them-please do.
I just want to know how badly ive done.

Wait badly?? You think that's bad? You passed all ten. You got two A*'s and 7 B's. Both are above average, A* is the best.

Why do you think it sucks? I got 6 B's and 4 C's. Feeling better now?

i remember taking my GCSE's ok so i wasnt the smartest student ever so i got 4C's and like 3 D's and a F (music)

Really, you should be pleased and proud of yourself with those results - you passed the lot, congrats! :D

Dude,no i know they're good,but being in an asian family its sorta tradition to over-estimate what the kids are supposed to get,trust me i know my grades are good,however my family had very high expectations-they expected A*s all the way-the only way i got such good grades was because i worked my ass off because of what was expected.

I didnt start this thread to make myself better,and i apologise if ive offended you.
I was just curious about how people are dealing with whatever grades they got.

Ignore anyone who puts you down for them results, they are great, they will be more than enough to get you into college or on a internship etc.

If anything you should be having a huge birthday party / exam results party!
