View Full Version : Starting to get a "beer belly" and I'm only 14. How can I get a flatter stomach ?

Hello,

Sorry if this is in the wrong section/

I'm a male 14 year old and my belly is starting to stick out, I am constantly breathing in because I am quite embarassed. My tummy isn't flabby or anything, it just sticks out like a beer belly haha.
It is quite weird because I am thin everywhere else but then my tummy sticks out :what:.

Is there a way that I can get a flat tummy quickly ?

it could be as simple as what you are eating, if you eat aklot of fried/junk food then you will get a bigger belly, it dont mean anywhere else will get big. or it could be just your body putting on some weight as some do during puberty (puppy fat) do some sit ups and work out abit and if its sposed to go away it will

Running is good, my 'friend' runs a lot and has a 6-packish thing. Kinda flat but 6-packy. lol.
It's supposed to strengthen your abdominals or something, and you lose weight at the same time.

Unfortunately the fastest way is going to be a very expensive way and probably one your parents aren't likely to give into: plastic surgery.

All other methods are going to take time and effort. Perhaps you can take up a sport at school or go cycling or jogging. You can then do various abdominal exercises, anything from basic sit-ups to using weight machines at a gym.

You aren't going to get a flat belly quickly. It took you a while to get the belly, yes? It's going to take time to get rid of it too. Weight training + cadio + water - sugary things

Go easy on the drink and do some excercise all you need to do is cardio (walk/run/cycle) and sit-ups, they work well

You should try to do 20 sit ups each morning, and 20 at night. Try it! Trust me i know, im a swim coach.

all i can say is
crunches except you hold your head up for 10 seconds then go down
then up agen at least 20 times
then double it up in a week
and so on
it really tightens up your muscles
oh BTW
your supposed to feel tightness and pain in your upper stomach
