anywhere from like 11 or 12 to like 15 or 16. It depends really, though it's already happened to me.

Aren't they meant to get harder and 'stick out' a bit, too?

I don't reckon mine have done this yet, they're still the same little flat things that seem to be part of the skin. I probably wouldn't notice if they DID change, though :P.

Mine started to get darker around 13 and 3/4.
