why does it taste so good

why did they make fiber one bars taste so good, my dad has them i have like 4 a day. now my stomach hurts bad and im constipated... seriously they taste amazing but the aftermath is terrible. this was really random

maybe i should have listened to my mom when she said "dont eat to many of the fiber one bars" :D

Like Tripolar said, Fiber keeps you regular, not constipated.


See, 'fiber' is actually a portion of plant material (specifially, the plant's 'cell wall' which is made of cellulose) that can't be digested. Because it can't be propery digested, it zips through your colon like whole corn! It's basically like drano for your intestines.

If you are constipated then the cause is probably a lack of water in your system.

I have a similar story:

I had been eating huge bowls of cereal for a few days, and didn't crap for a couple of days. Then, BOOM, serious case of the hershey squirts.
It was that Special K Red Berries high fiber stuff, it's SO GOOD!
