Think about the wind
How it blows
The sounds it makes
Feel it all around
It can cover you like a blanket
Soft and cool on a warm day
It helps you dry your hair
After swimming all the day
Our friend the wind
She is so loving and kind
And mother natures
Always sends her just in time
But as kind and cuddly as she is
And as caring as she may be
The wind is like us humans
Her emotions run free
She can destroy everything
Crushing us like twigs
Making our homes fall
In just a single blow
But before you get made
Put yourself in her shoes
It’s not her fault
It is her job you know
We may not see her
And we may fear her
We may hate her at some times
But truly she’s our friend
So next time you talk to father earth
Make sure you ask him
How is your daughter?
The wind
How it blows
The sounds it makes
Feel it all around
It can cover you like a blanket
Soft and cool on a warm day
It helps you dry your hair
After swimming all the day
Our friend the wind
She is so loving and kind
And mother natures
Always sends her just in time
But as kind and cuddly as she is
And as caring as she may be
The wind is like us humans
Her emotions run free
She can destroy everything
Crushing us like twigs
Making our homes fall
In just a single blow
But before you get made
Put yourself in her shoes
It’s not her fault
It is her job you know
We may not see her
And we may fear her
We may hate her at some times
But truly she’s our friend
So next time you talk to father earth
Make sure you ask him
How is your daughter?
The wind
