The iPhone 3GS has video recording/editing. And tethering but AT&T doesn't support it. Pretty much the only difference. $99 for the 3G, $200 for the 16GB 3GS, and $300 for the 32GB 3GS.

I'd keep the original before the new one, I don't like the shape of the new one lol

There's no difference physically. They're exactly the same.

The 3GS is plainly better. It has an updated video card, more ram, and a faster processor. The speed differences are huge. And since it has more RAM, it's less likely to run out and make Safari close when it's running in the background.

The 3GS is the first iPhone that's honestly worth the price. From the beginning there was always one feature that was missing that made it one step behind the others. This one actually competes.

the difference is it can record videos.. and some smaller things like better battery life and voice control. if you want recording, jailbreak the 3g.

The 3G S is worth it in my opinion, if you're getting a new one. If you're already happy with the 3G though, don't bother.
