A few days ago my best feind who is 16 got in a fight with her step dad handf he left a black eye.
however she said she wanty gunna go to thwe ploice cuz they she dint want her little siter to grow up withot a father.
the next day at schol howevere she broke down and told a teather wat happend. but thse made the teacher promist not to call the cops.
howerver the teacherr lied. now shes fraking out cuz shes scare hwery gunna take her away from hwr mom even tho it was her step dads fuclt and not her mom. i dont know wat to tell her. doe sthis case mean they have to put her in a foster home or are there alternatives to that wre she can still stay with her parents. sshes terrified and now i am too. if anywone know sumthing bout the laws on this plz reply. were in lousiana btw so yeah im not sure of the lousian laws on this. ive been looking em up nbut i wan tto know if anyone elserss has some info.

I know nothing about LA laws. I knowthat here, in california, it doesn't matter which parent it was. I tried to tell CPS that my dad was abusive about three months ago; I was put into foster care and told not to contact either of my parents(even though my mother wasn't involved) and after a week, they sent me back to my father's house! (the system is messed up) So really, anything could happen.

My advice: Foster care is better than being beaten... no matter what. It's scary going into that system, but it may be what's best.

Well when I was little my parents broke up and I lived with my mom until the social worker found out she was slapping us silly and such so we went to live with our dad. I don't think this will hep you but i hope this can keep you a bit stronger :)
