Im curious...
...when you like someone but they have made it clear to you that they dont want to be anything more than just friends, do you want to spend a lot of time around them?
I mean, would you mind seeing them a lot, knowing that nothing is going to happen...or would you rather take some time away from them?
:D

i would rather forget about them and move on, no fun spending time with somone who dosnt really want to be with you. but if we were actually friends not just like when people say that then i would still be friends of course just not care as much about them as i used to.

Sorry, I didnt make that clear did i...
I meant if youre already friends with the person before, and you like them as more than just a friend, but they only see you as a friend...if that makes sense? :P LOL! :D
Would you still want to see them a lot, and still be good friends? Or would you be scared that your feelings would only get stronger or something?

oh ok lol. well no i wouldnt worry about falling in love with them more, im a realistic guy i guess and i dont have time to love somone who cant love me back. i wouldnt be afraid to hang out with them or anything and it wouldnt ruin our relationship, unless i only was only friends with her because i thought she was only appealing when i loved her. but shit happends. im just wondering are you in this situation is that why your asking?

meh...sometimes it happens....if your redjected for dating...you kinda have to clear your mind and forget you had an attraction with them
THAT...or build off of the emotion and become better friends

My friend knows that Im already in a relationship, and i just dont see him as anything more than a friend, so nothing could or would ever happen.
He is still keen to hang out alot, and because he works with one of my best friends, we do tend to see each other a lot but i dont know if its fair on him...and...other stuff that i wont get into, but thats basically the situation :P LOL!
Im just wondering what other people prefer when they like someone :D
Anyway, thanks for your reply krzwis :D

well...if i was in his spot. I'd stick with you so that the friendship would not die....but it would kinda be hard at first to handle.
He has to take rejection and try to forget it. Just learn to be cool friends with you. Unfortunatly, he's not on this forum.......so yeah.
Just calm down and try to forget he ever told you he likes you.....unless he acts a bit creepy-erish for like the next few weeks....then give him a "slap" for me

Out of place out of mind, so I'd say STAY AWAY from him/her.
