Second appointment.

I've got my second appointment for this mental hospital place, think its to see a psychologist, the thing is a few things have happened since i last saw him and my Sh has got worse, anyone have any idea what will happen? I'm just a little worried...

Well, if you are getting worse, he might bring your mother or father in and tell them. Or he could have you tell him. I think its the law... if you're hurting yourself, yet he isn't telling someone and you die... he could get in trouble. It depends on what level of confidentiality he offers, or what exactly you're doing.

You can try to ask him if he can keep it between the two of you, maybe he'll be okay with it. But I do know, if you say you want or are going to commit suicide, he WILL tell your parents.

My parents all ready know, the school had to tell them so the school nurse could refer me to these people, but thanks, the appointment was ok he wants me to see some other woman and a psychiatrist so...

I've just had my second appointment with a psychologist and it wasn't too much different then the first one.

I'm pretty sure the only reason that she is allowed to tell your parents about your S/H is if she honestly believes it is going to put your life at danger.

Other then that, it's not going to be much different from your first appointment, she told me different coping methods instead of cutting and stuff.

Yeah, I'm sure that they are only allowed to tell your parents if you are going to put your life, or someone elses, at risk.
