Sounds like it could be almost anything. What does the rash look like? Is it just bumps, or are they more like small blisters? How large are the patches? Does it hurt and/or itch? Here are a few common causes of skin irritations:
*Switching to a new body wash, lotion, or laundry detergent. If you suspect one of those may be the problem, discontinue use of the product and see what happens to the rash. For laundry detergents, re-wash your clothes in either the stuff you used to use or something such as Tide Free (the "free" means it's mostly hypoallergenic and won't irritate your skin).
*Taking a new medication, either prescription or over the counter. Same as above, stop taking it and see how it goes. (Consult your doctor first if it's prescribed, however. Make sure it's safe to suddenly stop using it.)
*Do you shave your legs? If you do, it could be irritation from your razor, commonly called razor burn. Lotion will help to soothe the irritation, and you can prevent it reoccurring by using better and/or girly shaving cream (a name brand, versus the cheapo store brand). You may also need to change your razor out more often.

These are just common causes, but a little more info on the rash (when it started, if it's spreading, if it itches, etc.) may help narrow things down. If you just can't figure it out, or if the rash is spreading, go ahead and see your doctor.

They could be anything, it could be a rash from the washing up powder being used on the jeans. Or it may just be general spots, or a rash which may or may not need treatment.

Probably best to wait another week or so then perhaps go and visit the doctors if its getting worse.
