What is being addicted to masturbating? In your opinion?

I think it's having masturbating at inappropriate times, such as during the day, at school, in public, etc.

But masturbating every night or every morning is not being addicted. It's routine and may help you sleep or wake up. It can also help you relax and relieve stress and sexual tension.

This is only my opinion... but anyways: Being addicted to masterbating is like being addicted to alcohol. An alcoholic can physically not go a couple hours without a drink. I define an alcoholic by someone who drinks more than 40g of alcohol a day (that is 4 glasses of wine) on a daily basis. They can not go more than a couple of hours without a drink. Now if you put this into the case of a masterbation addiction, I consider someone who can physically not go a day without 4+ masterbation sessions every day, always thinks about masterbating, and masterbates at incredibly inappropreate times (ie family dinner or something? idk?) to be a masterbation addict. Those who are addicted to masterbating would also chose to masterbate over other activities. Most of the time, people who have masterbation addiction will have little to no social life because they will chose to masterbate over socializing.

Its like any other addiction. If it's done excessily or is believed to be more important than other things and is pushing other activities aside then it's an addiction.
