Ok. I really don't eat that great. I mean not a lot of healthy food. I work at a water park so I'm on my feet a lot so I do get excersize. Back on topic. I don't eat good but i do eat alot and I mean alot of ceasar salad. Is ceasar salad good for you to eat. It's probably a dumb question cause it probably is. I need advice on how to be healther and not just being healthy on ceasar salad. I need more choices. I would live advice.

yes, a "Caesar" salad is good for you. It's especially good for you if you use minimal amounts of dressing and croutons.

Most people don't do enough of the following:

*drink enough water
*drink enough juice
*eat enough vegetables
*eat enough fruits
*exercise

Many people get more than enough protein. People usually eat too many:

*snack foods
*carbs
*soda drinks
*candy
*fast food

My suggestions are this.

Eat at LEAST one serving of fruit a day. That means: one banana. Or one cup of grapes. Or one orange. Or a few strawberries. Or an apple. It's recommended to eat 3 servings a day, but that might not happen right of the bat, since it takes time.

Yogurt is good for you. Try some.

Orange juice, especially with pulp, is good for you. I usually have it as a side to anything. It took me time to get used to the low pulp, but that's ok.

Carry at least 1 bottle of water around with you: 1 liter. Drinking water improves the condition of your skin, and hydrates you, which makes you last longer during exercise.

speaking of exercise, do about 30 minutes a day. This means jog. Ride your bike to and from school. Run around with friends. Play catch with the dog or younger siblings. Sure, 30 minutes might not happen when you first start, but 20 minutes? Sure. Idk how much it takes to work at a water park so maybe it's enough but idk.

I like to put vegetables on the side of what I eat. Carrots and broccoli are my favorite. You can eat them with stuff like ravioli or pasta and alfredo.

Burritos and tacos can be a great source of cheese (dairy), lettuce, and tomato.

Subway or Quiznos can be a great place to get salads and subs with good things like green peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, jalapeņos, black olives, etc.

I find that vegetables are better steamed. Try that.

Lean meats are good. The best lean meat: chicken. I love this stuff.

Eating healthy doesn't mean just eating healthy foods in addition to junk foods. Limit your soda drinking. It dehydrates you, rots your teeth, and has little nutritional value. I drink about 1 soda every month. I have a few treats (candy, ice cream) about once every week. I only have snacks when I really need them, not out of boredom. Burgers are nasty imo.

Salad is a great choice, but as Zach said don't pour dressing all over it. Everyone hates that fat lady who uses a whole bottle on one salad.

Try to use low-fat or fat free dressing.

Yumm I love me some salads.
I say if you get excersise, eat whatever you want.
However you need to eat a wide array of things so you can make sure you get the minerals and nutrients you need.
Ceasar salad is probably the worst type of salad you can eat because its only lettuce usually (minus the cheese and dressing).
I would suggest Chef's salads because they have a lot more types of vegetables in there so you can get more nutrients.

Plus salads are not tthe only healthy things yu can eat.
It is important to eat a proper diet.
Grains, Meat, Fruits, Vegetables, with a little fat/oil

So in short, eat a lot of things.
Visit mypyramid.gov for more info on that stuff

Salad is fine, of course. Ceasar dressing, specifically, is probably the unhealthiest of all dressings though. Thus, 'ceasar salad' is healthy... but only if compared to, say, a hamburger. Garden, or even greek salad would be better.

BTW: Real ceasar salad includes onions, anchioves, lots of garlic, parmesano cheese, romane lettice, and ceasar dressing (which is mostly oil).
