So i'm 17..and i'd say mostly done the phases of puberty...i started growing some facial hair last year...and i shave when ever i can...like once a week, sometimes once a day for a week...etc

anyway....I am growing a nice and full beard-y hair on my sides....but for some odd reason, no hair is growing around my mouth...well, there is hair but its growth is EXTREAMLY slow compared to the rest of my facail hair..
Ie: very slow hair growth in the gotee and mustache area

does anyone know why hair's growing slow there but fast in the rest of my face?

that could just be the way it will always be but it might even out over a little more time

It normally takes time- by the time you're out of your teens you should have more facial hair- some people are just more hairy than others.

some people have scattered facial hair. my brother's friends brother has some hair that he just cant seem to shave off and it makes him look like a steryotypical mid eastern terrorist.

It just depends.

Everywhere I got new hair during puberty (pubes, pits, inner legs, face, etc.), the right side grew in before the left. Not enough to notice unless you see it everyday, but kinda funny.

It is prabaly just the way you are. It also could be a type of cream that you are using that is keeping hair from growing there?
I'm 14 and have hair around my mouth- also on my chin. It is all very fine still.
