I have a problem. I want to become healthy and exercise but I don't know where to begin. I want this change but I hate change. I want to take it slowly but where's the starting line? It's hard for me to eat healthy because All there is in my house is junk. There is no way to get my mom to buy healthy things so don't even mention this if you respond to this thread. I hate working out. I can't stand it. How are you people so healthy? How do you people stay in shape? How are all of my friends skinny? (Ignore the last sentence.) I just want to become healthy not lose weight because I'm not fat. Where do I begin? I need this change because right now I'm living off of fast food and cheese-its. I think I'm more scared than anything. I'm scared of the future. I'm scared that I will become that big fat man on TV that can't get out of his chair. I don't want that to happen. But I don't think I can make the change. But I need to. Where do I begin?

You can start by planning yourself a short route to run. Doing that about 2-3 times a week will do you good and you'll be able to see improvements as you go.
Going swimming is a good way as well but you have to push yourself when you go otherwise you won't see too much improvement.
Of course there are things like football clubs, hockey clubs, rugby clubs etc. They have the added advantage of providing a bit of a social feel to it too.

i'm sorry mate but the basis of healthy living is healthy eating so your just going to have to try and cut down on the junk food and if you say not to mention this because your mum won't buy healthy food, i'm sorry for saying but it's the truth that it's incredibly irresponsible of her.
Now on the way of losing weight through exercise, if you say you hate working out then i would guess gyming or athletics would be out of the question but you could try for starters light exercises like stretching, or making things a little harder for yourself around the house: walking up and down the stairs consistently as stupid as it sounds is a great pulse builder.
joining a club like football, or baseball could also be a good option for you as if you can get yourself into it you can forget that your actually exercising and your just having great fun as well as meeting new people along the way.
