Something I wrote about two months ago. Don't know where I got the inspiration to write this. Just a spur of the moment thing I suppose *shrug*.
"Sunrise"
Sunrise...another day. I'm alive. Out the door, mist hangs sullenly over the field. It seems to mark its own grave. Go over barefooted and feel the wet, cool grass under your feet. Lay down and lat the mist engulf you to a new world unkown to man. Hear the sounds of nature above you. The chirps of birds, the soft whistle of the winds. Is this ecstasy?
Now....WAKE UP! Something is intruding your space. You open your eyes to find a distant, yet very bright, light. It's warming you, taking away the cold. You get up to find two worlds: One that is shrowded in night and the other is the greeting of a morning sun. Looking up, the sky is their battle ground. The darkness and light battling for the skies above you. The night is giving in and starts to disappear, whild the sun shines brighter and brighter in an endless glory...but for how long?
Tell me what you think. Pretty good for a work of mine, but it's not the BEST of all my compositions
