Okay, I get the urge to cut everynight, unnfortunatley I give in nearly all the time. Anyway there are some nights I cut loads, all over my arms and legs, and other nights I'll maybe do 3 or 4 cuts on my arm or leg. Does anyone else do this? Or am I just being daft? Also does anyone elses cuts really really itch?
Also (this only applies to people whos parents know they self-harm) ever since my mum and dad know I daren't ask for razors and I need some for just normal shaving...

I'm the exact same. I also normally give into the urges. The cuts itch due to them healing. But yeah, I do that same thing.

To be honest i only get urges when i am really down, or in a bad mood. So i try to keep out of them. But yeah your going to get urges your best bet is to try and deal with them instead of giving into them each time.

Whats the point?
Do you want to stay addicted to this forever? to be made up of scars? To have to explain to future partners and such about them? And makeing up a bullshit story and them seeing through it and then losing trust? I could go on

The urges never go away. But sure, there are times where I feel fine and times where I feel shitty. Only my cycles is more in weekly cycles. For 4 or 5 weeks I feel perfectly fine, then I go down in one week, then for about 3 or 4 weeks I am on the brink of suicide, then about two weeks after that's stopped, I'm back to perfectly fine. Its hell.
Though, I can relate that I used to be just like you. Nightly, daily, hourly (one night). My parents knew at the time and they took away razors and shit and bought me an electric shaver, buuuuuuut, I unfortunately got around that.
So, keep your chin up, and if you ever are in a bad position and need someone to talk to, I'm here along with most the Psych Ward staff is happy to help and the Counselors. (Names and links found in thbe announcements in the forums)

Oh yeah hun. Its just the nature of the beast. I personally have had the itch as of late. Still, I continue to perservere because I made a promise to myself that I would stop.

my mom doesn't really have to worry about the shaving razor thing. She only keeps the box cutters away from me. Of course, my mom has been lacking lately in hiding them. I see them all the time in my house and it takes everything I have not to steal one.
