BMP to JPG

Can anyone tell me how to convert a .BMP file to a .JPG file? I'm trying to put pictures on my flash-drive and I can't find the picture because it is .BMP not .JPG. Any help is appreciated.

Open in paint
Save as > (Save as type) .jpg

Open it some sort of Photo editor such as Paint, Gimp, PhotoShop, etc, then save as/export as .jpg
