What is the reason ?

I know one guy who cut off most of his dick probably because of some mental disorder. Do people who harm themself regret or do they feel happy about it after all ? What is the reason to harm oneself like that or in other ways ?

self harm is a way of letting out the emotion inside so its physical pain and not mental pain, it also relieve some stress and tensions that build up, many people fell a lot better while others feel guilty but its a way of coping

Self harm is the act of injuring oneself to release endorphines in the brain. These endorphines are nature's paiinkillers and they give you a euphoric feeling after harming.

Some people after they have self harmed will feel really good about it. and then they will continue to do it without a chance of stopping. the first step to stopping is noticing that it is not good.

The people that dont like it afterwards (like myself) well... they feel bad about it which can then lead them to harm more as they are feeling down more as well.
