Do you believe that if you lost something precious to you that you have come to depend and bring you some comfort is it really wrong to get something that is similar or slightly less of the original.
For example: You had a dog which lived for a pretty long time. It dies and you feel a void in your life. So you get another pet buts its a smaller version, like a mouse or hamster or rabbit. They live less longer you can do less and they require less attention to survive.
this weens you off the original and you still have something you take care of and love.
is it really wrong to fill a void left in your life, especially if your young and not used to such a sudden tradgedy?
I dont think so. If you think about the new pet or void filler and know what u can do for it and that it wont receive any less love then the previous one?

Of course its not wrong, but I wouldn't expect it to be the same, for there will always be a void.

Yeah, it's possible and likely to fill voids. I was heart-broken when my dog died, but after several months, I just kind of forgot about him. I remember all the fun times we had and I will always love him, but I moved on. It may be difficult for people to move on, but it will eventually happen.
