Yeast Infection

I have no idea what to do.
I went to the doctors today and well she said I have a yeast infection.
She gave me a prescription, but mom don't know that I even went to the doctors.
And it really itches and burns.


What do I do?

Um, go to the pharmacy and have your prescription filled?

I know you can buy OTC creams and stuff to relieve the symptoms. Monistat is a brand I believe?

Thing is mom doesn't know. and well im not old enough to go to the pharmacy and get my prescription filled.

Okay, well tell her? Yeast infections are normal.

Or just go to the drug store and but the OTC stuff.

I'd tell her but im a little embarrassed.

Just say "Mom, I went to the doctor's earlier and I have a yeast infection....Can we go to the pharmacy and get me prescription filled please?"

And if you really don't want to tell her then just go and get the OTC stuff.

Just go to the pharmacy, if you are old enough to consent to medical treatment at the doctors then you are old enough to collect the medicine.

its all good desi, i know how you feel
every girl will get one once in a while in her lifetime( i just got over one) sometimes they are often caused by different medications)
take the others advice and try the over the counter cream or just really talk to your mom, trust me it wasn't easy for me to tell the staff at the group home
so yeah all in all good luck and hope it gets better :)
