i have been recently reading the book 1984 which you should all read, but anyway it has raised a good questions. Is reality internal or external. i personally think that it is internal every thing you see is what you see not what some on else sees. Opinions, Problems with my theory just sound off below
Modus Operandi

Your mind makes your reality, just as others' minds make thier realities. There is a common physical universe that we all share, but our realities are our own.
For example, take mind altering drugs. NOTE: I am not promoting drug use. They alter your own personal reality, and not the entire world's reality.
Also, you see what you want to see. I read the Hitchhiker's trilogy by Douglas Adams a while back, and it mentioned a(fictional)field called the SEP field. SEP standing for Somebody Else's Problem. All this means is that the mind will ignore things that seem out of place. The theory is fake, but it does happen in real life. If reality were external, this sort of thing wouldn't happen.
INFERNO

Reality is both internal and external and is influenced by both of them. Reality is influenced externally by the environment you're in. Reality is influenced internally if you take certain medications, drugs, have a certain disease or brain-damage that affects your internal processing.
