well i wake up with mixed emotions because i am half excited and half dreading school again. i usually start with the best intentions of doing things well and stuff and end up back in my old ways within minutes of my first class starting. i usually go home feeling good about school and with renewed excitement about it. i'm yet to have a bad first day of school.

I just go through it like a normal day. But a little more excited about seeing my friends.
On my VERY FIRST day of school, I stood in the corner, crying for like, two hours. lol

If it's first day at elementary i hardly remember it, it was long time ago ;P
first day at new school(I don't know how u guys call it, but here in Serbia we have 8 years of elementary and then another 4 years in this one) well it was really a blast of feelings, like i was exited(about meeting new people) scared(what kind of teachers and friends will i get) lost(not knowing anything about this school) and a bunch more that i can't explain, At my surprise all of them vanished the moment i got in new classroom... don't ask, idk how xD

Ugh, it's completely boring.
I get to school and go to my first period class where the teacher drones on about how they didn't get half the supplies they ordered, how "The school board needs some fixing up" and how "In this class, this year, I'm expecting you to work hard!" and usually something about their kids or dog.
Then we go to an assembly. "You are here for education, not for social hour." "You are students first, athletes second. " "Mr. Friauf isi here to talk if you need him." "*Insert new project that usually fails* is going to be great!" "The dress code IS in effect. Respect it." "We're very sorry that we lost *insert teachers/staff that retired." "And let's have a great year, okay?" "Oh, by the way! NO cell phones/electronics. They WILL be confiscated."
The rest of the classes are identical to the first, apart from Geometry. You sit down, he takes attendance, passes out books and says "Okay! Open up to page 7 and we'll begin" and you get homework.

I'm a very anxious person when it comes to school, so usually, i highly medicafte myself, pack my bag the night before, and just get up like normal. And usually, we have a tradition of taking mypicture in front of the tree out front.

6:00 AM-Wake up, think "oh shit, another 36 weeks of school"
6:05 AM-Think "well at least I get to see my friends"
7:30 AM-Get to school and see all my friends and have a great laugh :D
7:45 AM--11:30 AM- Meet all the teachers, they go over our names, then they forget and waste the next week learning them :D :P
11:30 AM--12:00 PM- Assembly about "Welcome back, don't do drugs" :D
12:00 PM- HALF DAY WE GET OUT!!!!!!! :D:D:D:D
And that pretty much sums it up. All in all, the first day is fun....and funny because the teachers don't give a shit :D

ugh! school. it isnt really that i dont like school, it is just too easy for me. I have never really had to do anything hard in school and I am taking all of the advanced classes.
1- wake up and get ready (shower/brush teeth/stare at the wall thinking about wanting to go back to bed
2- go to my computer and look at what my sister says i should wear (she dresses well, so she wants me to dress well... so she sends pictures of what i should wear to me.)
3- eat breakfast
4- get in my car and drive to school
5- go to all of the boring IB classes.
6- not pay attention to what the teacher says and just talk to everyone else and draw pictures and pass notes.
7- come home and sleep or go over to a friends house.
School is just too easy for me, so I think of it as just another day.

well, first day of school, for me, is tomorrow.
And my insomnia came back.
Thus, I will have no sleep for tomorrow.
Fun stuff. We'll see how it goes.

First day of school is Wednesday and I am dreading it. Most of my friends did IB ( I could have but I wanted to stay at Junior High one more year) so now I have only a few friends at school.

I shower every night before I go to bed so my hair's nice and soft in the morning,
So I straighten my hair, pin it back, apply my makeup, then do my hair in whatever style.
I eat breakfast, brush my teeth, then get dressed.
I walk up my huge driveway, wait for about 10minutes (my busdriver is unpredictable), my busdriver and I do the Knuckle-punch thing and he says "Hey, babe!" (he's a close family friend and has been driving my bus since the very first kindergarten.. he's going to be devastated when I graduate): (he said he'll retire, lol)). I walk towards the back, stopping three rows from the back, and sit into the seat on my left (has always been my seat((: )
I Get off my bus, start walking towards the school as my friends yell my name and run to catch up. We put our stuff in our lockers, and then my friends huddle around my locker as I pull out a whiteboard calendar. They sign their names on what weekend/day we hang out, and where. (through out the year, they add/remove things).
Then I walk to my classes, usually hanging in the hall as I pass different groups of people and chat with them, always exchanging new cell numbers and summer stories.
Then I sit through my classes,
Go to the dumb assembaly- which I text through the whole time, lol
-- lunch time. --
Lunch is always fun.
I walk to the second row, table all the way on the left. Then whoever wants to sit with me, does. We usually connect two table, and add too many chairs xD.
This year.. from lunch on, will be different. i have BOCES so idk what that'll be like yet, i'm excited :D

My dad comes in and wakes me up and then i realize that i have to go to school. Then i get ready. I try to think of something good to wear. Then i wait for the bus. I'm nervous before i get on the bus because i don't know where or who to sit with. And then i go to school and have to listen to the teachers introduce themselves and talk about their lives. Then i get home and usually have a little homework. That's usually what my first day is like! (It's so fun, i know)

Well this year my ritual is going to change.
I'm going to school dressed for success, with a suit, tie and a dressy hat, so I can make a great impression with the teachers.

Today was the first day of school. And, despite two hours of sleep, it was absolutely fantastic. Well, I still don't have my first two periods dealt with, but that should be taken care of soon. I have my best friend in my AP government class. Yay! And the first day of psych, we did a "draw a person" test, how fun! According to it, I'm anxious, insecure, and I have sexual tension and confusion. Haha, totally sounds like me. :D And Omeara is frikin' hilarious! Oh, and I know so many people in my AP literature class. It's going to be so much fun.
I can't wait for this year. :)

My classes haven't started yet but the pattern will be pretty much like it was last year (I don't have classes that start all at the same time each day so this accounts for the vague descriptions):
Night before first day: Pack my bag with all the pens, pencils, spiral notebooks, etc... . Also take a small bundle of cash. If the professor is nice, then they put up the lecture notes ahead of time and I print them off and take them with me.
First morning: Get up, eat breakfast, brush teeth, shave, get dressed, make lunch. On the way out, grab some spray deordorant if needed and give it a quick spray (I don't plaster myself in it so you can smell it 10 feet away).
10-15 minutes later: Go to train station, hop on train, get off train, hop on bus, hop off bus and go to the lecture hall.
Before/after the lecture: See who is in the lectures that I know and see who may be decent study partners and go for them.
Go to the proper rooms and buy the previous tests (preferably with answers) for biology and psychology courses (already have the ones for sociology).
Study, eat, meet up with some friends and go somewhere with them. Come back for the next lecture whenever it is.
As for the clothing, probably will wear the fancy black wolf sweatshirt, beige pants plus belt, some random shirt underneath fancy black wolf sweatshirt. If it's cold out, then on goes the nice long black leather jacket with the black fur lining and off with the fancy black wolf sweatshirt.
I may take a shower the night before. My hair is probably too long for fancy gel.

-put on eyeliner and mascara while my straightener heated up
-straightened my hair

-drank a breakfast shake thing
-went out and waited for the bus (which came 20 minutes early and I missed *fail*)
-got a ride from my mom
-pushed my way to period 1 (music)
-talked about instruments and paper work that had to be done
-walked outside with my friend on my way to period 2 (english)
-listened to my english teacher butcher peoples last names including mine
-went to my locker to drop off my stuff
-went to the office because I was called
-had lunch
-went to my period 3 (business)
-listened to my polish teacher explain what we would be doing and hated the fact that my ex-best friend and I are in the same class
-went down the hall to period 4 (science)
-sat quietly because my teacher was intimidating... but funny
-got on the bus
-got off at the wrong stop :\
high points:
-I didnt get lost!
-these guys didnt steal my locker because my cousin is doing a victory lap (when you go back after graduating for another semester)
-I know people in all my classes
low points:
-I missed the bus
-these guys tried to steal my locker

Today was my first day of school. I
-Woke up (late) at 6 nervous and got ready
-Got to school and found my locker, hung out and talked to people for 25 minutes before school actually started (everyone gets there early everyday)
-went to my 5 classes, was really happy in 1st hour because after school marching band practice was canceled
-couldn't figure out which bus I was supposed to ride, but I eventually did find the right one.
-got dropped off at the middle school and had to walk the rest of the way home in the poring rain.
It was pretty much the same as last year except last year I didn't have to walk home, and this year I hate most of my teachers.

September 9th, 2009, 12:18 AM
Well today was officially my first day. So, to start off, the trains for some unusual reason were perfectly off-time as there I think was an accident on the train crossings or some technical problem. So after spending little time at the train station (my father drove), we switched places and I drove to campus.
The first lecture I was looking forward to because I've had the professor before and he's definately one of the best. I was also looking forward to the actual subject, which was forensic psychology. We're going to get several guest-lecturers, including criminal profilers who teach at Quantico for the FBI and teach (plus work) with the RCMP. We're getting another guest lecturer for deception detection and a whole bunch of other guest lecturers. Anyways, the lecture was scheduled to be 3 hours but the professor let us out about 25-30 minutes early and the entire lecture was amazing.
Afterward, I waited and waited and waited and waited for the person whom I had to sell some books to and was meant to meet to actually show up. After waiting for 20 minutes and just about to screw it, the person phoned and we met up later, I got my money and they got their books. The delay for the person to show was simply waiting another 15-20 minutes but I had several hours to kill so it wasn't too much of a hassle.
Once I became a rich man with the money, I met up with some friends, they went to class and then I met up with another friend who, like me, was killing time. On the first day, there's really not much to do because the readings are easy (and I did them ahead of time same with him) so we wandered around campus shooting the breeze.
Then came the 1st year sociology lecture and this is where my day sort of collapsed. Not only did the professor change the book that he initially put up for us to buy, so now the current book is useless and all 200-300+ people need to jump into the over-packed bookstore, which was so over-packed it rendered its own security guard to act as a traffic police officer.
Anyways, the previous book was actually quite interesting to read, although the professor was not. It was pretty boring as one whole hour pretty much got wasted with nothing being accomplished. Towards the last 5-8 minutes he actually began lecturing on the material and to my surprise, he then picked up and became interesting, the class ended.
By now it was about 4:15, my day started at 10 am and so I went to the bookstore only to see that the line now grew so long it was clogging up a staircase. I decided to take a later bus, waited for 25 minutes and the line didn't move at all, other than random other people getting too fed up and walking out. But when it's a line of over 60 people, one or two people moving out really isn't a great movement.
So I got home via bus and train (had to buy my train ticket), it was around 6 pm. I came home, walked and played with the dog.
At 7 pm, I went off with my father to the karate dojo for 2 hours. We've been away from it for a bit over a month so needless to say, it was rather brutal.
We then came home at about 9:30 or so, picked up ready-made pizza and fries on the way, tossed up a basic salad and later, watched a pretty good episode of The Mentalist and NCIS.
I then printed off my notes for tomorrow, packed my bag and it kindly flew across my room landing with a small thud.
And now I am here typing my day out, just going to press "post quick reply".

September 9th, 2009, 05:50 PM
Then we go to an assembly. "You are here for education, not for social hour." "You are students first, athletes second. " "Mr. Friauf isi here to talk if you need him." "*Insert new project that usually fails* is going to be great!" "The dress code IS in effect. Respect it." "We're very sorry that we lost *insert teachers/staff that retired." "And let's have a great year, okay?" "Oh, by the way! NO cell phones/electronics. They WILL be confiscated."

Other than that, lots of crap for parents to sign, like syllabusses(syllabi?).
