Its when your doctor examins/checks your body for signs of disease.

It more or less this. The doctor exams your breathing, sees if you eyes or ears are working properly and are not damaged. Makes sure you do not have anything problem health wise. Also he/she will check up on your activities and study your growth by weighing you and measuring your height. Then you'll get the howdy poo downstairs and he'll send you on your way with a lollypop and youll feel rather iffy about that guy who just touched you down there.

its simple, us english lads would call it a doctors appointment to check for common problems in teenage boys :-)
