I am in a very religious family and I just accepted my bi-ness ( is that a word? Lol ) And i'm wondering does jesus look down upon gays? Do they go to hell? i mean Leviticus 18:22 "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable" and Genesis 2:24-25 says, “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife..." Please help!

Ignoring the fact I'm not religious...
Overall, Jesus taught us to love thy neighbour. He never said anything about gays to my knowledge. I can't see that it would be frowned upon for someone who is a nice person to be gay. (For example, I don't think mother Teresa would have been sent to hell if she was a lesbian).
Genisis is from the old testament, before Jesus was born. I don't know which Leviticus is from.
Overall, I don't think there should be an issue. It seems more that the Pope has an issue with GLBT than religion itself as far as I am aware.
Also, homosexuality used to be illegal until recent years, so it wasn't accepted in society as a whole, not just religion.
As I say, I'm not religious, but I hope this may have helped. Good luck! :)

If it makes you feel any better, Leviticus also says that shellfish is an abomination.

No. God or Jesus don't look down upon gays or bis and we certenly won't go to hell. The Bible was written by men, not God. I believe there is nothing after death anyway, so idc really.
