i had to do a fing in multimedia class about research of windows vista, so i figure i'd bring it up here.
yay or nay for windows vista?

Since I don't even know what it is, and am to lazy to search, would someone care to explain what it is, so I could join in on the nay.....or possible yay......most likly nay.....

Well all i know is Windows Vista will be the only windoes Halo2 runs on

It looks good... slightly better than XP, and it's better than Linux, so I'll get it when all beta junk is finalized :P
Plus, I won't really need to pay for it, but I will still try it out :)

i got the beta one, havent bothered to install it. district is over, but now i have a 400 point english project...then A+ certification and drivers ed in the summer, then there is the tuberculosis test and the volunteering at my local hospital. i will install it on my extended partition this saturday and post a few screen shots maybey.

vista will suck for you cheap people, last i heard there was no DX9 support so you would need a new vid card also

well alot of people will be getting a new computer with vista on it i guess but for the people upgrading... a new video card lol.... still they are pretty cheap!! :P

well i am installing it right now, awkward because i have never before been able to browse the internet and install an operating system at the same time, but it seems to be flawlessly doing it's job. not takin up much memory or cpu usage either.
big thumbs up on the install. the graphics of the install look attractive as well. ill try and post one of my screenshots when i find a good picture site to upload them to, if im allowed to post 1024*768 images, please advise. (kiros)

Yes, it's allowed, however, try to save them in PNG format for quality and then use imageshack.us (clicky) (http://imageshack.us) to host it. From there, you can post a thumbnail here that (when clicked) will redirect to the complete image.

Oh wow... I ran an update, so now I am running DIRECT X 10!! I'm falling in love with windows media player 11 and IE7 as well.
