so I'm about half a week late,
and my body is usually on time.
Should I be worrying? or is a few days ok?
Because I can't think of an instance where my boyfriend and I
haven't been careful lately so I'm sort of :what:
maybe it's nothing?

A pregnancy test would be a logical step.. That kindof tells you if you're pregnant or not, cool right :)

well yeah i know that.
but I thought maybe I should wait or?
I mean, is there a certain point where if you're late, thats it?
i.e 5 days? a week? etc..

Of course not, it may just be a minor fluctuation.
I would consider a pregnancy test as soon as possible, the sooner you know the sooner you can react to it, right?? If it comes back negative, I wouldn't worry about it, like I said, quite possibly a minor fluctuation. However, if it doesn't happen for a long time and it's still negative, consult a doctor..

Muppletart has pretty much said all there is. I wouldn't worry if it's only a few days. A lot of things cause it. Stress being one. I know someone who went about 4 months without her's all due to stress.

when I first started mine, it was over 100 days between each D: I thought there was something wrong, but now I'm more regular. I would try a pregnancy test but I wouldnt worry about it too much if you're sure that you and your boyfriend have always been safe. a few days can just be a bodily thing.

If you are still worrying, i highly recommend you take a test or two just to be on the safe side.

Okay, first you need to think about your sexual activities. When was the last time you had sex, because you don't want to take a pregnancy test if for example it was only three days ago or something, it's not going to be reliable. There is no harm in say waiting a week before taking one. This not only gives time for a pregnancy test to be more reliable and for you to also a period. Its going to do no harm.
I'd also like to say, no form of contraception, except abstaining, is 100% safe, you can be as safe as you want to be, but you still have that little slim chance. Personally, I slim this chance down even more by being on the contraceptive pill and using a condom, if one fails, I've then got a back-up. Maybe you should look into other forms of contraception.
However, don't stress about it, just wait it out and I'm sure its just your period acting up, we all get them. (Well not me hence the love of my live, the pill).
