Ive been having this problem for years.
Some have told me its genetic and etc and its okay.
But ive recently started seeing them pop on my forehead and around my face. The all all over my thighs, my upper arms, and back.
They are not pimpils or acne, and they look like little bumps on your skin. They can be scrubbed off if they are dried out but scrubbing has to be hard and makes my skin red for a few hours. They are really tiny but are spreading everywhere :(
Acne medication and scrubbing has NOT helped.
Help?

It could be eczema. I get a similar thing on my hands on occasion. Small bumps, often in loose clusters within the same general area, sort of look like tiny blisters? If that sounds about right, eczema is a possibility. It's common for eczema to make the skin look and/or feel sort of scaly, or seem like dry patches that lotion doesn't really help with. Sometimes it comes and goes, sometimes it likes to stick around for a while, there's no set pattern for that.

I'd see your general physician, or your dermatologist if you already see one. There are skin creams which can be prescribed to make the symptoms go away (although there's no "cure" for eczema). You may not need to use the creams forever. Eczema is sort of chronic but doesn't show up ALL the time.

You're not contagious, and it's possible that it is genetic (if either of your parents or family members have ever had issues with eczema). It's just something some people get and others don't. *shrugs* It's generally an easy fix, though, so don't worry.

EDIT: Oh, and don't pick at them! You mentioned scrubbing hard to get rid of them. If these are the tiny pin-prick blistery things I'm thinking of, it can be tempting to poke them or scratch at them to get them to go away already. All this does it leave you with irritated skin or a small wound from getting too aggressive. xP
