So, lately my penis has not smelt lovely. Why? I don't know.
I've looked up several causes, such as dietary change, smegma, and thrush.

So let's start off, when this first started, my penis just smelt like fish and that was basically it, no other symptoms.
Today however, there was some peeling skin on it so I'm thinking smegma, however I am circumsized, can you get this while circumsized? If so, how do you get rid of it?

I shower daily, I use soap. Just a few moments before posting this, my penis felt moist, which I'm pretty sure is what smegma is for to keep it moist.
But from what I've read smegma just washes off, this has been going on for nearly a week now.

I am not willing to go to a doctor for this as of yet, I am sexually active, and I do use protection, this has never happened in the past and obviously any form of sexual activity as of lately has dropped to zero.

My question to you: How do I get rid of this horrid smell? Am I washing my penis wrong? I should use soap, I'm assuming? If not what should I use? The smell is the only problem, no other problems are happening down there, so I don't think it could be thrush, and I have not had a recent dietary change so that shouldn't be it either.

Any input will be appreciated.

Now, does it smell immdiatly after the shower? Because I will have a stage and like for a week, my penis will smell and be wet, and it's because i "precum" in my pants, that could explain the wetness and the smell...

It's not wet, I mean the side of my penis, not the head, is just moist. And it smells about an hour after a shower depending on how thoroughly I've cleaned it.

It could be that there are some nasty bacteria or fungi growing on the side of your penis. You probably wont be able to see it, but that is my best bet.

It could also be a change in the soap/body wash/shampoo you use when showering, different chemicals in these concoctions can cause weird things to your body.
