Pubic Hair Question

recently i noticed that the bottom part closist to my cock the pubic hair is black and the rest is brown. does anyone know why this is and did it happen to anyone else?

It's a very normal occurrence to have the main portion of your pubic hair a different colour than that closest on the base of your penis. This is also common with scrotum hair and the hair on the underside of the penis.

You have things called melanocytes which control your hair and skin pigmentation. In a hair follicle, the melanocytes are located at the base of the follicle where new hair is produced at the start of the anogen (or growth) phase of the hair cycle. The melanocytes recieve signals that tell them when to start producing melanin. Because you have black/brown, you have eumelanin (which is a type of melanin responsible for black/brown skin and hair) sent to the to the cortex of the shaft of those hairs. The melanocytes can send for different levels of eumelanin and pheomelanin pigments, but only one type of melanin is usually synthesized at one time, causing changes in hair pigmentation and the intensity of hair color. This is why our hair can change color, and why your pubic hair is different colors. Your hair is just in the process of changing to a different color/pigment.
