Any advice?

I bought these shoes for school and they have to be a certain color, so when i got em i just tried em on and went home. When i got to school ( after summer break ) Lots of people noticed i was taller, but people say its just the shoes. Now of course i dont want to wear the shoes cuz i wouldnt wear something that made me taller on purpose. What should i do to prove i really did grow a lil bit and not just get big shoes?

Why feel you need to prove anything? Obviously they are jerks if they won't believe you! Generally everybody grows during summer hols.
Anyway, what's so bad about being tall?

Wear your old pair of shoes for a few days until people notice and realise you arent lying.
Then wear your new shoes again.
