Hallucinations are common for some migraine sufferers. Usually they're seen as flashes of lights, dots or blind spots in the vision, even the "halos" you describe. This is called a "migraine with aura" (http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/migraine-with-aura/DS00908). Usually the aura is noticed before the headache comes on, sort of like a warning signal, but it can happen during the headache as well. There's nothing wrong with you--other than the fact that you're a chronic migraine sufferer.

I would suggest talking to your doctor, even if you're already being treated for the headaches. There are treatments to help prevent migraines, as well as fast-acting drugs which may be taken as soon as you feel a migraine coming on. There are also pain relievers which can ease the symptoms. If you notice that certain things tend to trigger a migraine, you can also try to avoid them. Overall though, just talk to your doctor about what you can do to help this. No one should have to live with chronic pain, especially when migraines are becoming more and more treatable. Obviously this is bothering you, and it's time to see if there's more you can do about it. :)

I used to get that, then I went to the doctors, they told me to take LOADS of painkillers just as my vision starts going weird. I had really bad migraines for a while when I was just starting puberty, then they stopped after about a year.

(I also found out that I was allergic to Mars Bars, they make me have KILLER migraines :( )

Go back to your doctor. If the pills aren't working, then he/she needs to know so you can make a change. It's possible that you've built up a tolerance to whatever the pink pill is, and may have to increase the dose; you also may need to just try a different drug. If paracetamol doesn't work, try ibuprofen. Personally, paracetamol has never helped with any type of pain I've experienced; I don't really trust it. xP Also, I would suggest that you try drinking some caffeine. It's one of the main active ingredients in Excedrin and other over-the-counter migraine meds. There's evidence that migraine pain is related to dilation of the blood vessels in the brain and caffeine constricts your blood vessels temporarily. I don't get migraines, but drinking a coke often helps with my run-of-the-mill headaches. It's worth a shot.
