I am in AP classes all around and workout 4 days a week. I am an excellent student but since I started cutting in grade 9, I have not been able to stop.

I sit in my classes and I can't even concentrate nowadays because of the urge to cut.

How do you guys handle the stress..?

There are lots of ways we do it, Try your hardest to keep it off, ask questions if you are confused. Maybe ask to see a counsellor. IF you dont already. Just keep trying.
The urges dont come to me ususally. ONly when i'm angry / sad / deep emotions So i cannot be as good advice as some others but here is a start :)

Yeah I get random urges sometimes too, like I won't even be depressed or anything I'll just wanna cut so bad, like i ache for the feeling, but it seems to me that you have a pretty stressful schedule so thats probably a big reason why you feel the urge to cut. Because (just a hypothesis) maybe, you've become so dependant on cutting, you feel the urge to cut before you feel the feeling of stress. I aggree you should talk to someone, and try and set aside some "me-time" during the week to try and relieve some of that stress (hope this helps) PM me if you need it

Try doing it (If you have to) just before you go to school and damn as near as when you get back through the door. You might have ADD and this can be helped. Just because you relieve stress like this doesn't mean you can't have other things. Try setting certain times to do it at and enforce these vigorously and you might get used to the routine and you might be less distracted.

I'm sorry Darkness, but I really think condoning this is the wrong way to go. Its already a crutch and making more structured seems to be counterproductive. I really think talking to someone would help drastically, cuz you're (david) stuck in a whole "world on your shoulders" situation. It's ok to unload it all and not have to be perfect all the time. PM me :)
