I guess you could call Marilyn Manson my guilty pleasure. If you read his book, "Long Hard Road Out Of Hell", you would know that the rumors about him taking ribs out and shit like that were created by a Christian censorship group to silence him.
He was out for shock rock. That's why he pretty much dressed up strange. He wanted to shock you. He's good at trolling the world.

All of his albums are pretty good and addicting. Antichrist Superstar, obviously, is his masterpiece. Although, because he made that "Eat Me, Drink Me" concept album that wasn't made for the shock purposes, it really made fans hate him.

Like he said, he's been very limited to his creativity lately because he doesn't have much time on his hands with all the touring. The two videos made for the new album weren't that good as expected. All his other videos on the other hand are just amazing. Some are funny, serious, fucked up, but all pretty interesting.

Like always, Get the full albums, not just the singles. And start off with Holy Wood, then Antichrist Superstar.
