I've posted about this before but I'm so stressed out over this. I'll start by saying I'm 14, 15 in November, and a freshman. This has been here since at least 4th or 5th grade. It looks kinds dark, and is right along a line which I think might be my circumcision scar. It seems like it may be part of a vein, as it is right in the path of a vein, but it suddenly gets bigger and darker. From a quick feel tonight it felt just like the vein, but it was just a fast check. I showed my doctor a few months ago during a physical. She said it looked fine and was PROBABLY part of a vein. She also checked my testicles which were clean of problems. I'm just terrified of this being cancer. All that I have on my mind is dying or losing my penis at a young age. Does this sound like something I should get specially checked? Also, could it just be a very nulgy vein? Please tell me what I can do, I'm terrifed

well, if your really worried you should tell your parents and go see a doctor, but if i was you i'd trust the one from your physical. she could most likely tell the difference between cancer and a vain and i'm sure if there was any chance of it being cancer she would have you go and get it checked out right away. if its getting bigger and smaller thats most likely because more or less blood is flowing though it, and i may be wrong, but i'm pretty sure cancer doesn't get bigger and smaller like that.

Chances are, its probably not cancer. Its extremely rare for anyone your age to get cancer in that area. Its mainly middle aged men.

I doubt that it would be cancer. I would think of it being a vein idk but I'm sure its not cancer.

Doctors are way too worried about malpractice suits to leave alone anything that has a chance in hell of being cancer without investigating it. It's not cancer.
