Okay so two things I was wondering how do you know if a cut is infected ? I'm a little worried is it really obvious or not ? And also how do you know if they are going to scar ?

PLEASE -can someone try answer this?
i have another thing to add to this, i have these two cuts, and they have sort of started to heal but around the cut it's gone kinda grey, they don't hurt more than usual or anything they've bin like that 2 days now, should i be worried or anything?

"Look for redness and swelling. The first sign of infection in a cut is puffiness in the skin surrounding the cut and a streaky redness on the cut itself and the area around it. This is not necessarily a bad thing. It means that your body's immune system is doing its job and is repairing the damaged tissue. If the swelling and puffiness continue for more than four or five days and worsens instead of getting better, it is time to seek medical attention."

And for scaring i think it depends on how deep and all of that. but theres many things you can do for scars too.

I've found that If you can still easily see the mark after a month its going to scar I have 2 very bad ones and about 10 easyish to hide ones. It goes sort of red for a while.

It really depends on how deep it is to scar, i think that everyone you do willl leave a mark for at lears 2-4 weeks. Anyway if it does scar then bio oil really helps so much :)

It depends on how deep and sharp it was. Another remedy I've found worked for scars is eating pineapple.

On scars there's a lotion that helps them fade, it's called Bio-oil and you can get it in Boots.

Or Lloyds Pharmacy. I have Bio-oil and have been using it for about a week. I cant say there is any noticeable difference JUST YET but it says use for a minimum of twice a day for 3 months so.

In lloyds atm its got price off the middle bottle costs £11.95 for 125 ml and trust me that will last you for a looong time.

The gray areas could be dead skin, it could be an area healing or it could be something else, keep a close eye on it and if it does look to be infected, or even worse go bad smelling then get it looked at properly, but of course i;m no doctor so if you have any problems og and se one to be on the safe side!
