I am having a very hard time sleeping lately. its been a little less than 2 weeks since I had a good night sleep. I am very anxious and can't relax my mind. Is there any methods of calming my self down, or something to help me sleep easier. And please do not recommend pills, I would rather not ever taking sleeping pills. any advice would be appreciated.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I don't know where else it goes.

Theres lots of things.. Drinking warm milk, not watching tv doing computer stuff 1-2 hours before sleep, counting things as in repetetive thought patterns.. And so on and on

But what I found out in about 4 years or more of not being able to sleep properly is that their all shit and work for people with minimal problems..

So the only thing that I know helps is a pill and no it doesn't have to be a sleeping pill.. For me it was an anti depressant with a calming effect for anxiety.. And that helped me enough to sleep.
