No. Well when I go to the store with friends or if I were to buy condoms the people there dont really mind since I guess you would be keeping yourself safe. :)

They cannot refuse to sell you the condoms, it's not illegal, and it's better to be a little embarassed about buying rubbers then being unsafe.

Like thunder said there is no age limit to buy condoms, ur just doing the right thing anyways so u can't be criticized for buying them, also they can't deny u buying them

If u r embarassed of buying them, if that's the deal then ur just not mature enough for sex

It is not illegal. Government run places (teen clinics... i think) will even give you condoms no matter what age to protect and promote safe sex.

Not illegal at all, infact it proves a point if you buy condoms, that you are practising safe sex, no shop clerk will stop you doing that. If your nervous about buying from a nearby store go to a drug store or a health clinic then you are most likely not going to have any issues.

Watched a 48hours (or something like that) special that told of some places in the united states where even adults are shamed into -not- buying condoms! They are kept behind a protective case that only the pharmacist has a key to, and you have to call him over if you want to buy any. It seems strange and counter-productive to me, but that's america for you.

That being said, there is no law in the US, Canda or UK that makes it illegal to buy condoms or other forms of contraceptives (although some require a doctor's perscription). However, there is also no law that I am aware of that says the store must sell them to you. The owner of an establishment has the right to refuse service to anyone they choose.

Though, really, do you think someone's going to say no? Maybe if you lived in a little town in the deep south or something... but New England? Common! You're fine.

Hi empar! :D

Yep, the others are right, it's absolutely and completely legal to buy condoms at any age. The government want to avoid teenage pregnancies at all costs really, so as long as you're playing safe and nothing breaks, they're fine.

If I you are going to make sex, make sure you're ready more than just contraception. Make sure you're emotionally ready and make sure that if anything goes wrong that somehow you could do something with a child. Make sure you love your partner, and you are ready to go through with this and make sure that you trust your partner.

I wouldn't recommend underage sex because sometimes things can go wrong and then there is a problem. But if you're fully protected, then you're okay. Just remember that if you think it's broken or you think somehow your cum has gone into your partners vagina that you get her to take the pill to be sure. The last thing you want is a baby in your teen years.

Back to the question... I doubt the workers will think any different of you because you want to have safe sex. It's much more intelligent than risking unprotected sex. If you're worried that they'll recognize you and think differently of you, you could always try another store somewhere else where you could get your condoms like a petrol station. You may also be able to find a dispenser in a public toilet or other.

If you can't get them from a store, for whatever reason, it's likely that your school nurse will have some too to give out to kids. Just go up to her and ask her completely confidentially and in confidence for some condoms and she'll give you them and will probably tell you a little about how to use them and safe sex.

In most countries, it isn't illegal to buy condoms at any age. Perhaps it would be a problem to buy it in that store since you could feel emberassed, but if you don't, then it will be okay.
