i had a physical done but when the docter went to check down there instead of asking my mom to leave she took me behind the bed type thing that u lay on i don't think my mom saw anything but why didn't she ask my mom to leave it bugs me

For me she just stuck her hands down there and didnt even look but she didnt ask my mom either i asked my mom to leave

Technically she is allowed to be there because you are not 18 and therefore do not have the authority to authorize medical procedures/decisions, and therefore she is allowed to be there to know what goes on. You could have asked your doctor to ask your mom to simply step out of the room, or said that you had to ask a personal question that you didn't want your mom to hear. If you were to ask a question to your doctor in which you would not disclose such information/ask the question, he would have made your mom leave for it could jeopardize your health. I mean, he would have told your mom later, but she shouldn't have been there when your doctor checked for a hernia/testicular problems. Anyways, your doctor may have thought that it was alright with you if she stayed.

I would just mention on the drive over you want her to leave the room when your having to drop your pants because its embarrassing having her in the room.

Yep, guys are private about these things and when it's someone that you're always around like your family, you probably don't want them to see your bits. That's absolutely fine.

So next time, instead of assuming your doctor will ask her to leave, tell her yourself if you feel that you would not like her to be there. It's understandable that it is awkward and perhaps the doctor should have asked you beforehand if you wanted her to leave like most would.

She probably didn't ask your mom to leave because you're under 18? Maybe she just thought it was fine that your mom couldn't see anything. Or maybe there wasn't anybody else in the room and didn't want to be left alone with you for legal issues? Just some thoughts :P
