So I went to casualty today
I had a fall last Thursday, not much damage, scraped my hand

Fact: One of the residents died today. She had already been going downhill, and Allen, the LVN, decided to give her milk when she was already congested. And not just ordinary milk, it's like a protien shake. So she started gargling, and breathing really heavy. So I told him "Why would you give him milk when I told you not to? She can barely breathe as is. Look at her she's choking." and he said she was doing that before he gave it to her and left. Then he came back and performed an emergency trach, which he's not allowed to do. So I reported him. He told me not to worry and she was going to pass soon anyway. So I decided he could use a new line of profession. :)

Fact: I got my mom two books and a necklace for Christmas. A diamond necklace. I don't feel like it's enough. I know she won't care that she only got a few gifts, but I feel like such a spoiled little brat because I'll get a ton of shit I really don't need. It's so different without dad. Now most of the gifts under the tree have my name on them, and since I really don't have that much money, or ideas, there's only a few for my mom. At least there were some for dad before. It's not the same. It's not fair. The only thing I want is for my life to go back to the way it was almost four years ago. But without him bald and sickly, coughing up shit every five minutes. Bed ridden and frail. One day, when he could still get up out of the house, a girl I know drove by and saw him in the driveway. The next at school she asked if it was my grandpa. No, It was my 51 year old father. If it could only rewind and he could get healthy. I wouldn't be fucked up, I wouldn't have started cutting. I probably wouldn't even know about VT. And you know what? That doesn't bother me, if it meant getting my dad back.
