well first you in the wrong forum you should have put this in the questions area in vt hq

second if people like your posts they can add to you rep by clicking on the scales by the exclamation mark then you decide to add good rep or bad rep

Instead of telling him it's in the wrong forum you can just report it.

You get rep by posting helpful and meaningful things on the forum.

Also, the amount of reputation you have and the power you have (Meaning how many green squares you have) influence how much the reputation you give out.

How to get more: post good information, and people will give rep to you. Also, be here for a long time and have a lot of posts, so people trust you, so they will be more likely to give you rep for your information.

If rep doesn't seem to be coming in and you're making good posts, that's just foul luck. Some people on this forum simply don't care to rep good posts.
