Only So Far

If life wasn’t real
It’d be hard to believe
That it could glide by so easily

If we didn’t dream
Then we wouldn’t see
The future so vividly

It’s so hard to keep
My head on the ground
When the clouds are so interesting

I don’t know why
We spend all this time
Waiting for the end

Thinking ahead
Regretting the past
All a part of being free

When the present ends
We step too far
Winding up on the edge

Our futures are
Stuck in the past
Living in our dreams

We won’t know
Until we die
That our dreams
Should’ve been real

Thanks I'm glad you like it. This poem is really important to me. I having a lot of weird dreams and that's why I wrote this because they are so reall and keep happening for real in some way so it's all confusing. It's the only way I know how to sort it all out.

Lol, I know what you mean :P
But i've come to this conclusion (which is confusing if you don't think like I do xD) "Dreams become real when you make them. Dreams are imaginary but create inventions that we use every day. So technically.. Reality is imaginary. Everyday you're living your/someone elses' dreams."

And another quote that I found randomly in a Quotionary book (yes, I actually read one o.O xD) "Look around you, this is where your dreams are made."
At first.. I just took it in as it said. 'Our dreams are made my what we see around us.' but after awhile of thinking about it, i came to a different point of view. "No.. This is where we make our dreams real so everyone else can see them."
